Thank you very, very much. It is a great honor to be with the Governor and with Brandon and with all of the people. Louis, thank you very much for being here. There are so many
distinguished people.
And we're going to be speaking in a couple of minutes also, very importantly. But I wanted to thank everybody. Very, very special. What you do is incredible.
And you want to do the right thing. You know, the easiest
thing to tell your government friend in a little while, the easiest thing for you to just say, let them come in, who cares, let them come in, get your paycheck.
You don't want to do that. You want to make sure that everything is safe.
I know almost every 1 of you, individually and by the fact that I know what you do. I know very well that you're here many times and
you do an incredible job in your country. You take the hard way out,
but it's also the right way out. So I just want to thank the incredible people in this room. And the food looked very good. I wanted to have some, but they didn't have any for me. Yeah? And I left. That's that good. That's what kind of a hosta you get, right? But that's very good. That's my kind of food, too.
And I just want to thank,
you know, because he's out to do something very important and very special to me. And he's had a lot of respect for him and I have a lot of respect for the job he's
done. Brandon, likewise, said the job he would have to do is much more difficult than
it really could have been. It could have been so much easier. We could have installed the rest of that wall, it was all built and ready to go. We talked about that before. We built over 500 miles of wall,
and
it works.
You know, I used to say at the campaign trail,
there are 2 things that work. There's those cameras that get off the lead in about 15 minutes and the computers,
everything's off the lead after
15 minutes, that's actually, but there are 2 things that work. Walls and wheels.
They'll never be changed, walls and wheels.
And we built a lot of walls, and we got it started. And then you needed more, because we would take a different path. They'd go a little bit further out if they worked.
And you
had new things that we shouldn't have to do,
and you've had to pay things, new taxes, but you're not gonna have to worry about that 1 way. You're gonna have the strongest border, you know? If you go back
3 years ago, they had the strongest border in the history of our country.
