Cash Patel,
there really is no reason for any of this drama to be taking place with Donald Trump, with Mar-a-Largo,
with classified,
unclassified
documents
of any kind. Is there the government
is treating Donald Trump like he's some kind of a street criminal?
You're absolutely right. And look, from my days leading the Russiagate investigation up through the January 6th nonsense, to Ukraine impeachment 1, we have the same rinse repeat operation by the Democrats or the radical left in the media. They want to hide the corruption of the FBI and DOJ.
And public enemy number 1 has always been Donald Trump. And he's been exonerated every single time by the facts. But we'd have to fight hard for those facts. We had to fight redactions for those facts in Russiagate. And now we're facing the same battles come this farcical
raid operation that the DOJ
and the FBI is running as part of a political operation instead of basing these matters in law enforcement and fact like we used to do. So let's keep this simple. You've talked about this before. Let's give as an example this January 6th. Now, why do I want to do that? Because you were an eyewitness to a meeting. You were in a meeting with the president of the United States and the Oval Office with several other individuals.
You were in that meeting when the president of the United States
brought up the National Guard. I want you to be very specific
about what the president said and how that came to be. Yeah, Mark, it's 1 of those meetings you don't really forget. You're in the Oval Office with the president, the secretary of defense, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the chief of staff to the president of the United States discussing sensitive national security operations
unrelated to Jan 6. And then the president shifts to January 6 and the events surrounding it. This is 2, 3 days before. And he says, hey, guys, do we have enough security posture to assist law enforcement, I'm paraphrasing.
And he said, as the commander-in-chief,
you have my authorization
for up to 20,000
national guards, men and women. Our response to sect FNI, Roger, that's, sir, the chain of command was instigated. But, as you know, the law requires
a request from local authorities, Bowser and the Capitol Police. We went to them that very day, and they said no in writing. It took us a year-and-a-half to get those documents out. And I think that's what you're referring to. The truth is always going to be the truth, but the mainstream media
and the radical left Democrats are going to try to bury it
just like they're doing in terms of this raid and in terms of masking the information behind the Mar-a-Lago raid.
The reason I'm bringing this up now, I want to be very, very specific so the American people understand.
It was at Donald Trump's initiative
that he authorized up to 20,000
National Guardsmen. He cannot order them to appear in a city street.
What he did is he authorized
you guys at the Pentagon.
We know this is true because the former acting secretary of defense has said exactly the same thing. The inspector general at the Department of Defense said, that's what Milley said, Milley's note said, that's what happened. Liz Cheney comes on Fox and denies it by twisting the words from authorization
to order and
this is the most
exculpatory
piece of information that exists
that Donald Trump wasn't leading any kind of a violent attack against the Capitol building.
So they have
absolutely
nothing to demonstrate that Donald Trump in any way authorized
anybody
to attack the Capitol building, let alone an insurrection.
Now, now let's get to Mar-a-Largo.
That warrant
that this master — he's not a judge — that that master signed, which is shocking, that incident in front of a full-fledged
federal judge, given the enormity of what's taking place here,
that search
was unbelievable,
that the attorney general of the United States would give his OK
for FBI agents to go into a building that's protected by the Secret Service. Like the communist Chinese are going to come in there and start stealing documents.
You couldn't get in there if you're life-dependent on it. And so now we have to have a search warrant. And I've read part of this search warrant, Cash Patel, as I'm sure you have attachment B. This violates the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution.
This
isn't particular. Oh, they have some particular.
They have 3 statutes,
but then they open the door, basically saying,
as well as any other containers, boxes that are collectively
stored or found
together
with the aforementioned
documents or containers and boxes.
Who writes
something like this? What kind of a master approves something like this?
General warrants are unconstitutional.
There
has to be particularity.
There has to be probable cause.
There has to be specificity.
There isn't, is there? You're spot on, Mark, and I hope the world watches your resuscitation
of the facts there. As a former national security prosecutor myself, who brought these types of warrants against terrorists, against spies, against enemies of the United States, we would go to a district court judge to get these warrants certified, because we wanted a presidentially appointed, Senate-confirmed,
lifelong appointee
to decide and be the neutral arbiter of facts. And, yes, we allege, with exclusive specificity,
where to look and the things to be seized. We didn't say go in a basement and take everything, especially when the target of the search and the investigation is a former president of the United States. You asked who authorizes this? I'll tell you,
political gangsters sitting at the top of the FBI and DOJ who have hijacked the law enforcement and intelligence community, just like they did during Russiagate, for political gain. And let me tell you something else. The reason they don't want the FBI agents involved names out is because it's the same counterintelligence
FBI agents that ran Russiagate
that falsely claimed Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian disinformation
that were involved in the Hillary Clinton email scandal. It is the same agents that are buttressing the FBI's invasion of Donald Trump's privacy and violating the Constitution.
And that is why they don't want us to see the names and the material behind it, because it is the same crew of corrupt government officials at the FBI. And Chris Wray is allowing it to happen, and Merrick Garland is signing off on the destruction of our Constitution.
